CCI Sling Shot.
Indicator ( CCI-14, CCI -6 )
Setup Specification : With the trend.
ideal time frame for trading 5 minute, 15 minute, 1 hour.
How to trade :
Setup the CCI 14 and CCI 6 in the chart.
make the CCI-14 as histogram.
add another CCI-14 as line indicator
Now, the CCI-14 shows whether there is an uptrend or downtrend. To know the uptrend or downtrend , the CCI-14 must complete at least 6 bars above or below the zero line. If the CCI-14 is above the zero line for more then 6 bars then there is a uptrend. If CCI 14 is below zero line for more then 6 bar, there is a downtrend.
How to take the trade :
1. We see what is the trend.
2. when the 14 period CCI rejects the zero line and the turbo CCI-6 hooks at around the 100 line. Trigger is the hook of the CCI.
the success of the setup in the longterm is about 75%.
When to exit.
When the CCI -14 crosses above -100/+100 line. exit.
